Just thought I'd let you all know about the Competition we are running over at Art Squared.

From December 2008 until March 1st 2009 Art Squared will be running an art competition called the Art Squared box Challenge.

The contest coincides with the launch of the new Art Squared community, which is designed to help artists showcase their artwork, gain publicity, exposure and show off their individuality as an artist, for free.

We want to know about you. Who you are, What you do? What makes you tick? This is where the The Art Squared Box Challenge comes in.

Artists must interpret how best to redesign The Art Squared box. The Artwork itself can be based on a real or imaginary situation, giving you free reign to let your imagination run wild and inspire you to create something truly spectacular.

There is a selection of box nets to choose from, the first two are more for photography and the others are blank for all you digital artists out there who want to get creative.

So what are you waiting for, Our favourites will appear on the homepage. If that isn’t incentive enough to get your creative juices flowing, the winner will receive an 8GB ipod Nano provided by one of our sponsors, www.idisplays.co.uk, professional printers for canvas. As well as an ipod the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners will receive a year subscription to 3D total.com online magazine, but not only that, one free issue is rewarded to all entrants who submit a final entry.

The competition will close its doors on March 1st 2009 and the winner will be announced shortly afterwards.
